Agreement

  • By creating an account, booking a court or stepping onto the courts at Deuce Tennis Centre, you agree to these terms and to our court rules and behaviour policy.
  • Deuce Tennis Centre trades as Templars Lawn Tennis Club. References to "we", "us" and "the club" mean the club operator.

Booking & payment

  • Non-member courts can be booked in blocks of 4 hours (Pay As You Play).
  • Bookings must be requested at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Payment must be received by UK bank transfer within 24 hours of reserving a Block of 4. Account details are emailed when the pack is reserved, and unpaid reservations are automatically cancelled after 24 hours.
  • We reserve the right to fine any member or visitor who does not pay in advance. Any fine not paid within 48 hours may result in an indefinite suspension.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or move an individual booking in the event of a block booking.

Cancellation

  • Bookings can be cancelled by the user from My bookings. Where a cancellation is made for a non-member redemption, the hour is returned to your Block of 4.
  • The club may cancel or reschedule bookings in the event of weather, maintenance or block bookings.

Conduct on site

  • Members and visitors are expected to conduct themselves in an orderly and proper manner while on club premises.
  • Unacceptable behaviour includes aggressive or intimidating conduct, derogatory comments about an opponent or partner, damage to facilities, and abusive or foul language.
  • The club has the power to reprimand, suspend or expel any member or visitor who infringes club rules.

Liability

  • The site is privately owned and operated. Booking and membership fees only entitle the fee payer to use the court at the agreed designated time.
  • No responsibility or liability is taken for loss of possessions or bodily damage while on site, to the extent permitted by law.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under English law.

  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity carried out under your account.
  • If you believe your account has been used without your permission, contact us at deucetenniscentre@gmail.com as soon as possible.

Governing law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
